A bit disappointed

When it comes to Sonos you automatically expect a particularly high quality for their products. Unfortunately the rumors seem to be true in regards to the connection issues and battery issues. For a portable speaker to come so late in the game, you would expect there to be almost no issues but that's just not the case here. For example, the advertising for 10 hours seems incredibly misleading considering that even with just casual listening we are lucky if we get seven hours. I am constantly surprised when I go to use it and see that the battery is yet again drained and we've barely used it. We are not using any of the voice activated technology and we are not playing music at any super loud levels. We're going to try to troubleshoot our issues but safe to say we can't guarantee that we will keep this product.
Pros: Different Music, Different Rooms, Easy to Set Up, Expandable
Cons: Unreliable

Love all my Sonos products. I got the roam for around the pool, beach and in th yard because of its portable nature. It is sleek looking, light and holds a charge well. The sound is great. I find the Bluetooth extremely hard to connect to. Once it's connected the first time it's easier but it was frustrating to say the least. It's not easy for friends to connect to. When on discoverable it never appears in the device list. I had higher expectations for this product.

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable

The Roam is a great option to expand Sonos outdoors and on the move. A little underwhelmed by the battery life but otherwise it's been great

I love the product but can't give it 5 stars as it's missing a simple power off option. I don't use the Roam all the time. I want to fully charge it and then store it away until I plan to use it. However the sleep option drains the battery while stored and when I want to use it, it's dead! Why wasn't a power off option included!? This should be a firmware fix in my opinion. And then I'd be happy to give it a 5!

Alexa voice too loud.

The Alexa voice is far too loud relative to the playback volume. There's no way to adjust separately. Makes voice control almost useless.
