The Roam produces such great sound in a very small package--not for a small package, but in one. This speaker sounds like a much larger speaker and provides high quality sound for both music and spoke media like podcasts. My Roam will go everywhere with me!

Tremendous sound quality in a small package

Roam is a very impressive speaker for it's size. The differentiating factor against other blue tooth portable speakers is that I can group it with other Sonos speakers in my home and play my own music from my NAS server when at home. Outside the home, it is equal to any other good quality bluetooth speaker I have seen. It is finicky to get it set up properly BUT that is alleviated by Sonos's excellent support people available by their support chat that helped me get my Roam performing with the rest of my Sonos products.

Cons: Difficult Setup

Terrible battery life

Like all others sonos product, the beam is an awesome product but the major cons are - Battery life is terrible on standby (even with all voices services disable), is you let it close not plug in, for 2, 3 days, the battery become dead and it take a good hour of fast charging to have some juice back to have the ability to turn it on again.... really disapointing, for that reason, im returning my 3 roam speakers

A lot of sound for a little speaker and it sound's great! Doesn't stay connected, loose sound in a middle of a song, and the battery doesn't last maybe an hour definitely not as long as they claim certainly not close to "10 hours"! Really not worth for what I paid for it, pretty disappointed... I have the sonos one and sonos sound bar thought this speaker was cute and wanted something for outside, haven't had it a month and regret my purchase

Cons: Difficult Setup, Difficult to Use, Unreliable, battery last's maybe an hour

The Roam is a versatile speaker with great sound that is particularly useful for "out of the house" use (road trips, beach, camping, golfing) but the one major problem is that it takes a very long time to charge with the cable provided (over 24 hours in my case)
