I have two Roams and I love them. They have great sound and I enjoy being able to pair them together. AirPlay functionality is a huge plus as it's the main way I and my wife easily connect to the Roams.

Rich, full sound from such a small enclosure. I currently use the roam as an additional outdoor speaker that works great with a pair of rock speakers that are powered by a Connect Amp. Im looking forward to using the Roam later this summer at the beach!

Best little speaker around

Great addition to the Sonos family. After making the switch from a traditional home audio setup, (the wife hated all the wires) I couldn't be happier with the extreme quality of all my Sonos devices. This new speaker is no exception. I bought the Sonos Move to have a mobile speaker for outdoor parties and the roam is a great compliment to my existing system. It's light, mobile & waterproof which makes it great for the beach and pool but it interacts great with the Move and my One also. The coolest feature is the ability to "throw" the sound to another speaker or group the sound with another speaker all by holding the play button and holding near the speaker you want it to interact with. I couldn't be happier with the room-filling sound that is coming out of such a small device & I bought another one as a gift for a family member. It also charges wirelessly with my existing charger so it's really amazing.
