Awesome! Portable and long battery life

We have used the Roam both inside and out. It's wonderful to bring out on the deck, or to bring with you when doing yard work. It's very easy to use and control and sounds amazing!

Awesome product, frustrating connectivity away from WiFi

I am an early supporter of Sonos and I even bought their stock early on! For the Roam the biggest issue is connectivity. I have a Bose Mini II Sound link and compared to that, the Roam produces so much richer and deeper tones but connecting to the Bose is so much easier. When connected to Wifi, the Roam is far superior to comparable portable speakers when compared to app functionality and sound quality. When I take the Roam away from home, I have spent 30+ minutes trying to connect the speaker to Bluetooth eventually being successful. The Sonos app doesn't work away from WiFi and I have to switch to Spotify to continue playing. Seems dysfunctional to switch apps to continue using the same product. Or, if Sonos would let me use my downloaded songs in iTunes, it would possibly be more seamless. I also cannot find a way to turn the Roam off and keep it turned off. It continuously turns back on and drains the battery.

Cons: Difficult to Use, Difficult to connect to bluetooth
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Added benefit to Roam is connecting the charging cord into a smart plug. Great for use in a master bath or small room where you can turn it on via the Sonos app and turn it off with Google Home.
