I just love the size and sound. However the controls are visually poorly marked
Pros: Free Control Options, Streams All My Music, and More, Superior Sound, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Visual controls on white are really hard to see.

My new Roam was just delivered today and I had it rocking out in about 5 minutes. Even after a firmware update. What can I say? Amazing, crisp, clear sound! Blows my new JBL Flip 5 and UE Boom out of the water! Thanks Sono for designing such a small waterproof package with a powerful punch!

My Two Roams

I use the Roam for my deck (reason I purchased two) and while doing yard work. Also, it accompanies me on trips. Ok, I like that the music is there when I am outside. I hate that the bluetooth is really iffy. Nothing is simple about making it visible, however, when it is visible it does connect. Roam does not instinctively appear when I want to play on my deck. I constantly have to turn on and off...frustrating. Always checking for a software/firmware update to correct this. My goodness the battery sucks, especially charging with the cords provided. Luckily I have a compatible pad. Battery life under almost any of the conditions is NOT great. I only had one day that the battery life lasted about 8 hours so the "up to" is a pretty slick way to advertise...smh. Although I say go ahead and buy it is with the above caveats.
Pros: Small, Streams All My Music, and More, Wireless
Cons: Difficult to Use, Unreliable

It sounded good while it lasted. Then the battery ran out because the specific type of power adapter this speaker requires isn't included in the substantial purchase price.

A Little Disappointing.

Sound is great. Portability is great. Inability to work with "Hey Google, shuffle iTunes playlist" is huge disappointment. Apparently the only way I can play Apple Music is by using Airplay by carrying my phone.

Can't believe this does not come with a charger. Would have been nice to know a cellphone charger will not work. I could have (should not have to) ordered one in the month this speaker was on back order. Until my "new charger" ships from Sonos..... this thing is worthless. It did sound great the hour we able to use it before battery died.
