I am a college professor and when COVID-19 hit, I had to start teaching online (Like everyone else..). I was always looking at the All-in-One computers and finally made the decision. Definitely a great buy! The concept of this computer and to remove the tower is amazing. It fits perfectly in my new home office. The slide camera is very nice and offers privacy as easy as pushing the camera down. It runs smoothly and it was very easy to add my HP printer (OfficeJet 8028) to this as well. The picture quality is great and love how the speakers are also built in. Very clean design, runs fast and allows me to run everything I need from home to keep my class going.
I finally swayed away from an iMac and tried out this all-in-one HP. Overall I'm impressed with the speed and hardware. My only two complaints which makes me give it a 4 star is that the machine is pretty loud. I can hear it from the other room and it never seems quite even when nothing is running. Also, the sound is sub par. I'm used to an iMac that has amazing sound. Even if I turn the volume on this HP all the way up, it doesn't seem that loud to me - and the bass is non existent. Other than that, an overall sound machine for work and standard use. I really like the touch screen feature. I'm not loving the stand on it though. I wish It was farther back like the other models where you can hide the keyboard underneath it when not in use.
This computer shut dow something about thermal issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Arrived 2 days after ordered. So simple to set up, almost does it on it own. I'm an 80 year old senior and was so happy it came with facial reconition. Super happy how quick and easy it was to get up and running. Buy one you'll be amaized.
My husband surprised me with this new HP desktop computer to replace an old HP all-in-one. He knew I was so reluctant to upgrade because of the difficulty of transferring my files and photos and setting it up. I was apprehensive but he was confident and reassuring. I'm pleased to report that the transition was fairly easy and I love the features and functionality of my new computer. Thanks, Hubby!
I previously had an older laptop and desktop. I had cables everywhere and frequently had to crawl under my desk to plug in USB or SD cards. I had ext speakers and no video on my desktop. I'm doing lots of video conferences now and this was becoming a giant hassle. So, now with the AIO all the cables are gone except the power cable! The video camera works well but I did have to keep my ext mic because people couldn't hear me on conf calls. The speakers on the PC are great and I enjoy playing Pandora on it now. The fan noise people speak about is there, but more like white noise and with normal household noises you can't hear it. This computer is a HUGE improvement over my previous setup and I'm happy to say I made the right choice!
