I definitely needed a trash can that both my large dog and my clever kitten couldn't get into. So far so good! I am very pleased with it's functionality and looks.

I contacted them about a lid that was croaking. They first told me to buy lubricant and after that didn’t work, they sent me a new one for free.

I bought this can for the bathroom. We already had a round Simplehuman in there but it did not have the easy close lid so at night you had to keep your foot on the peddle and slowly let the lid down. With this one just step on the peddle and walk away, no lid slamming down. Works great and highly recommend.

Decent basic can

Good basic trash can. The liner rim is easy enough to open and lock into open position but it's hard to push the rim back down. You have to push hard and the plastic makes a loud snapping noise like you are breaking something. Otherwise very functional.

simplehuman is simply the best!

My first simplehuman product ever and I am in love with it immediately. The craftsmanship is amazing and it truly adds lots of characters in my kitchen. The design is fabulous and it is super robust. Bought one for my aunt and she also loves it! Don't buy the other cheap bad quality brand anymore - simplehuman is simply the best!
