Keeps failing

I have purchased two of these and both had to be returned because the battery fails. I was sent a new one both times and now one of those has stopped working. While they work great when they’re working, it’s crazy to me that all of the units have stopped working within a couple months of receiving them especially at this price point.

Works consistently and is responsive. I like the rechargeable battery and easy ejecting of the cartridge to be refilled. Also like the variable output based on hand height.

Love the feel of the foam soap and it feels like these last longer. I like that the controls are hidden under the top

This was a replacement pump for one I purchased that stopped working. The replacement stopped working after a little more than a week. Son, one pump I bought out of three still works fine. For now.

Trouble After 1 Month, Stopped Working After

First, I have no complaints with how the soap pumps work. We had been using it at our kitchen sink and I liked how it functioned, particularly how you it pumps different amounts of foam based based on hand height from dispenser.
However, about a month after getting it it started turning itself off even though it was still charged. Now at 2 months it won’t even turn on, even though fully charged. I’ve always like the Simplehuman products I’ve bought (basically all my trash cans), but this is the first electrical one and I’m not impressed by its durability.

Looks cool but very unpredictable

We have the standard Liquid Sensor Pump and love it. It is convenient, reliable, and looks great. I decided to buy a Foam Sensor pump for our kitchen to give foam a chance.
From the very beginning of set up, the experience was not what I expected. The dispenser is very sensitive to motion and was prone to delivering soap when not needed... making for a soapy, messy sink area.
We got around the issue by turning the dispenser toward the kitchen wall and scoop our hands around the pump when we needed a squirt of foam to wash our hands.
After the initial soap included with the pump ran low, I sprang and bought a few cartridges. The cartridges are self-contained and seemed to load and work great.
But then the pump stopped working. At first I thought the issue was that we were out of soap. Nope. Then I thought the issue was it was out of charge. Nope again.
When we tripped the unit's motion detector it would signal red. I took the unit apart, separating the cartridge from the main unit and noticed that the insides of the unit were sticky with foam. I am pretty sure we've not banged it around and so I was a bit surprised it was so messy.
I've cleaned the unit out, figuring it would just need to dry and then be recharged. But now the unit won't even accept a charge. It's a disappointing experience.
I now I have to request a replacement... but I'm a bit anxious that the same thing will happen again. Maybe I am better off just sticking with the tried and true... the liquid Sensor Pump.
