Meh! 2 Already broke

I am seriously considering returning them. I ordered 4 Foam sensor pumps on thanksgiving and one broke in the first week wouldn't dispense soap without gurgling sounds and another completely died and wont charge. While they sent me replacements, I don't think 50% quality bar is a great bar to hit.

High Maintenance

First one was replaced after the first one arrived damaged. No matter how many times I followed their pump reset instructions got nothing but air. Second one worked out of the box, but I have had to reset it, pump the intake valve and clean the sensor window 3 to 4 times since I received it about a month ago. So not worth the money, time and effort. Why on earth would a brand like Simplihuman engage in selling faulty products at premium pricing. Very disappointing.

I like that you can dictate how much foam comes out relative to where your hand is placed under the sensor.

I thought the 1st one was defective, so they sent me a new one (I had to return the old), and within a day or so, it was doing the exact same thing... just super slow/clogged like feeling - does not perform well. I wanted a 2nd one for the bathroom but not going to do it. It's pretty and works a little (have to hold hand under 3 or 4 times for a fair amount of soap), thus the 2 stars

It's just ok

The top looks overly brushed and doesnt match with the body. Im not sure I have a defect one b/c the pump sounds like is dying? Over all, I expected more refined than this.

Bad battery life

Not sure if its defective but i bought it as a christmas present and the product does what its supposed to do. Dispense foam amounts based on the sensors but after a full charge, it would only last 4-5 days before requiring another charge. Not like i use it often (5-6 times a day) but not the same quality as the auto gel dispenser i bought. I would try to return it but i no longer have the box.

Foam Sensor Pump

My second foam sensor pump. The first one works perfectly .. this not so much. No matter which size tube I put in the foam come out inconsistently and in squiggles. Not happy trying to figure how to make this work.

Clean hands the easy way.

I’m really happy with the foam pump. I have a disabled child and the combination of automatic measured dispensing and the more thorough rinsing with foam (as opposed to liquid soap, which can be hard to fully rinse off) have made it easier for our family to keep clean—critical under COVID guidelines. The dispensing mechanism is sensitive, so I have to make sure to move it slightly when I’m doing dishes, but it’s no big deal.
