I love the foot bar on the white rectangular can that I bought. You can be on the side of it and still open it since the bar goes all the way across the width of the bottom. You don’t have to be standing in front of it which is really convenient. I love the design also!

This is the second Simplehuman trashcan for us (we have one in the garage and the kitchen). Love that it does not have a separate (pull out) liner! Very easy to use and change the trashbags. Operates smoothly and quietly. Looks modern too!

I have been using a simplehuman product of the same style for over 15 years and liked it very much. It was a gift and when the step to open the can broke, I thought I would buy my first product from them. It is a beautiful product, fine finish and so far, working great. It was expensive so I hope to get 15 or more years of use from this one as well.
