Great things are usually simple

Got this can because of the esthetic but pleasantly surprised at the simplicity of use. Well made, sits flush against the wall without any issue opening and closing, the can holds bags, has an odor eliminator, the open/close mechism works flawlessly. Simple which makes it great. Thanks SH.

we are upgrading from a stainless steel can and this matte black can looks even nicer than I expected in person. I like the slot for bags too, so they no longer take up precious space in our drawer.

Gift to myself! It is exactly as it is advertised. The bag is very easy to attach, never falls down! I love the foot opener, totally silent when it closes. Don’t wait as long as I did to invest in one of these-yes it is more than I ever paid for a trash container but it is well worth it!!

Amazing trash can; 55L rectangular

I bought this to replace a stainless can that was beyond my cleaning capabilities. It is an amazing trash can. It has a pocket to keep the liners in, so handy for a quick liner change. I love the size of the can. I’m not changing liners daily for a family of 6; we are home all the time and eat at home which means there is a lot of trash generated. As with all simple human products, it is well made, clean-looking product that I am happy to have in my kitchen. Great product to add to our kitchen.

We have a small-ish kitchen and needed a trash can that didn't take up too much space but still has a large capacity. This one is perfect for us - tall with a 45L capacity, but thin so doesn't get in the way. Plus, looks good and seems to be built well.

Good but could be better

Lid feels more secure on the left than the right. When changing bags it almost feels like it's broken or missing a piece. Also, lid had small brown marks that I can't clean off. Initially thought it was previously used/dirty but it doesn't come off. Expected better from simplehuman.
