I really think this trash

I really think this trash can is above and beyond any other trash can you could have in the past. I like the compartment where you store the liners too. Very convenient and the liners are so strong I never have had one break yet and I try to wait until they are really full before taking them outside. Thank You Simple Human keep the great work up.

Pricey but nice!

I bought the white step can since we have white cabinets. Although it’s pricey for a step garbage can, it works with the compost caddy dock (which is amazing). I’m so glad I got the white!

Lovely Trash Can

We just moved into our first home and were excited to have a fancy trash can to fit in the kitchen. We've barely had the item for two weeks and there is already a dent on the top. Super disappointed. So we will see how long this item will last.

I THINK IT WOULD BE HELPFUL TO HAVE HANDLES ON THE SIDES TO MOVE THE CAN EASIER. I'M WORRIED THAT, OVER TIME, PUTTING THE CAN LID IN A LOCKED POSITION TO TAKE OUT THE FULL BAG WILL DAMAGE THE SOFT CLOSE MECHANISM.

Hey, guys, it's a garbage can, what do you expect

After I tore the second and third bags trying to get them out the way they suggested, I went to my old method. Take out 4 or 5 bags, put them on the bottom of the can, then put the current bag on the holder. When that one is full, remove it, take one from the bottom and put it on the holder. Once a month, replenish the stockpile. It ain't brain surgery. My only other comment is the ease at which it dents. My wife's daughter, dropped a spoon and it is marked for life. Perhaps a plastic cover? Make it easy to clean and prevent dents, dings and scars.
On the plus side, the bags open easily and are much larger than the "standard" of the industry. I don't know it they are as strong, I suspect not, given the ease with which I tore through two of the first three, just getting them out of the holder.
I guess I am just a simple human after all.
