Rim that covers bag makes it impossible for my dog to get to bag. It would be nice if the can had something to hold it off the wall as it needs a little distance to open freely.

By far the best trash can I have ever owned. Looks good and keeps the garbage odor inside the can as it should. A small plastic part became damaged and customer support was outstanding!

I bought this for my aunt as a Christmas gift. I knew she wanted a simplehuman garbage can was but had put off purchasing one. I am at her house often so I knew the size that she needed. She absolutely loved it! She's still sending me text about her new garbage can. LOL

Hi - I love simple human but this is the second bin I have bought that has issues. I open up the lid a lot to keep it in "open" position and the hinge has broken. Is there any solution? Thanks so much.
