Simplehuman really lives up to their warranty. The paint was chipping from the foot pedal. I let them know and 3 days later (I kid you not) , I had a new kitchen trash can. No fuss, no muss. A screen shot of the foot pedal and the serial number resulted in a brand new trash can. Wow!

I like the shape and design of this trash can. The 45L is a good size for my kitchen. I have owned this can for a couple of years. The problem I have with it is the can is very thin. There are several dents in it now. I have it in a good location. Also, the bronze finish is wearing off. I clean it with warm water gently. For this reason I cannot recommend this can or give it five stars.

Truly a beautiful trash can...well designed and solid...has heft but is not too heavy for this 63 year old 5’3” woman to shift around...get the matching trash bags...you won’t be sorry.
