Yes it is worth it to buy Simplehuman! The step mechanism is so smooth. The bag stays in place and is easy to change. My husband has commented every day how much he loves this trash can.

This is a very well made and very functional trash can. We purchased this one to replace our previous SimpleHuman trash can that we had for over 17 years and still going strong in our garage!

So happy with this trash can. The ease of use and design make a mundane daily task enjoyable. First saw these products at a VRBO in Vero Beach Florida, where the owner of the property had two trash cans and a wonderful dish rack from this company . I am 80+ yrs young and wish I had this trash system years ago. Highly recommend the Simple Human systems.

I wish we purchased this trash can before all the others we tried out. The size is perfect and the liner pocket is so convenient. We should have known better to stick to this brand since we have other SimpleHuman products in our home!

I actually purchased two of the 55L kitchen trash cans, one for me and one for my sister's birthday. We both love them, can't believe how nice they look and work. We both feel really special owning them. Thank you for building something so nice.

Spending a little extra for higher quality was worth it. The trash can is well made and the stepper is better than any trash can I have owned. Plus it is very smart looking.

Snazzy trash can

I like it. It’s better than my old one, which was also made by Simple Human. It’s cute and according to one of my neighbors it’s “snazzy.”
I’m not sure how hard it will be to clean. Right now it’s new, so I don’t have to clean it yet.
The top holds the liner in place, which makes it look neat.
There’s adequate room to dump the garbage.
It has a small footprint and looks nice in my kitchen.
I bought it on sale during Black Friday.
