Great Dual Compartment Trash Can with Voice Activation Sensor

This is a wonderful trash can with dual compartments and voice activation sensor. It has a recyclable compartment and looks really nice with very clean lines and overall look. I love it and is very cool to open and close by voice. Great trash can!!!

Not perfectly happy

I loved this trash can but the voice feature does not work well. It opens during normal conversation and doesnt listen to our voices well when we actually need the feature. Additionally, the motion sensor does not open right away and I'm having to do a swiping motion several times before it opens. Not sure if I got a defective product but it sure seems like I did.

Voice command rarely works. Sensor that reads your hand wave is weak. Have to be real. Lose for it to open the can. Seems cheaply made.

I am beyond disappointed in the quality of this for the price. We had an old dual SimpleHuman model (‘step version) that we gave away and I wish we hadn’t. Not worth the price point whatsoever

58L dual compartment sensor can

I am not new to the Simplehuman kitchen trash cans, in fact, this is my 3 purchase. My previous purchases were both step cans and although I loved them both, I found that the kids also loved stepping on the steps, the only issue it took them a minute to empty their trash because they were fascinated with the steps. The sensor is a game changer no more stepping on the steps, (kids) plus easy to drop the trash in the can as it opens easily and quickly.
