Arrived with a huge dent in the side of it. I either had to pack it back up and send it back or take an offered percentage for a refund. For the price of these products, you’d expect them to be packaged and handled with care. But I suppose that’s too ‘simple’ to ask for. Product works great otherwise.

I was a little unsure about this purchase, I got the black one with voice activated. I love it. The trash side is smaller that what we are use to because we had more living here but now it’s just 2 of us so it’s perfect.

Meeting all our expectations

We’re enjoying this new garbage can. Having the recycling & trash all in 1 place is perfect for our family. I love the sensor and voice activated feature as well.
Only downside is the small size of the garbage requires frequent bag changes.

Sensing worked out of the box, but within 15 minutes it stopped working. Has not worked since. At this point, its an expensive garbage can with a lid.

What bags fit the blue container of this can?

It opens up very nicely at the sound of my voice, “open can”! I don’t understand what bags fit the blue side? If it’s for used soft drink bottle to recycle, it will have to be washed many times! It gets lots of finger prints and must be wiped down several times a day. I have ordered the 58L already because I’m trying to segregate my trash, so now I have two Simplehuman cans. The first one is far superior then the split can!
