It’s magically simple!

Picked this can because we had an old electrically opening one that was wearing out. Looked specifically for a can that seemed like we could keep it clean easily. This one definitely is easy to use maintain. The voice feature is great and with the motion detection somehow they have figured out how to make it only open when you actually mean to throw something in the can. We have cabinets close by that we access for cups/glasses/tea/coffee and it doesn’t open unless you make a motion to throw something in it. Also nice: it stays open for however long your working with/in the can. Our previous one had a timer, once it opened, 3 seconds later it would close. That’s fine for just throwing something in, but not for compacting or when you’re scraping something out of a bowl and it takes you awhile. So far, this simplehuman apparatus is making our life way simpler and it’s fun, too!

We love our voice and motion activated trash can from simplehuman. The dual compartment, with a recycling bin, is very practical and space efficient. We appreciate the customer support when the can stopped working after a little over an year.

I was skeptical when I opened the new can. I have taken the trash out twice since I got it. The recycling bucket is so perfect, it got the cans, etc. off of my counter.

Trash Can with Voice & Motion Sensor

It took a day or two to get used to having such an advanced Trash Can in our home, however, we absolutely love this can and would recommend it to everyone who likes technology in their home. It's a show stopper as far as Appearance is concerned and dresses up our kitchen.
