I love this can and it keeps getting better. This is my third purchase of this can. The mat black fits nicely in my home. I like that I can now ask my can to close when before I only had the open option on my previous cans. My company loves it too! It’s quite a conversational piece in my home.

Missing parts and scratched

I bought a new trash can, it has scratches all over it and is missing the rubber stoppers on the bottom, causing the trashcan to slide all over the phone. I have reached out and regarding this problem but have not heard back still.

Extremely sensitive sensor

It is convenient to have the trash can open via sensor. However, it opens constantly on it’s own when we’re on the other side of the room. Consequently, it needs to be recharged about every 5 days. Not real convenient to be constantly charging it.

Nice but Slow

I love how the trash bin looks, but I was disappointed the first time I saw it open. While not too slow, it’s not very fast either and it does make noise. I think I was expecting a little more from SimpleHuman. Nonetheless, voice control works very very well and without any setup. I would recommend the can unless you need the convenience of the immediate step opener.
