I love my simplehuman trash can. The voice operation aids me wonderfully as I cook. I can ask the can lid to open to dispense of items while my hands are occupied.
The lid seals nicely to keep smells suppressed. I enjoy the second bin for recycling.

Love the can

The only thing I have found is that after about a year the light that comes on when the lid opens changed colors. It was blue when we first got the can. Now it is red. I can not find any information anywhere as to the issue with the color change. The can is plugged in and not on battery. If anyone can answer the question as to why the color change I would love an answer.

very convienient! we got it for a way to place our empty water bottles and keep more organized. Also, love the way how when you say "open can" it opens.

I waited over a year to purchase it because it was on back order. I originally wanted the Rose color for our house in Florida but it seems to have been discontinued. So I purchase the stainless steel. Having the sensor is the best investment and convenience. Never thought my wife would appreciate and love this dual recycler and garbage can combo.

great can but randomly opens

i love the look and functions of this can but the annoying thing is any word or sentence that sounds like "can" opens it. i then smell the trash in there... i don't know if the odor pod don't seem to work imo...
