Not Large Dog Friendly!

I wanted to return this because I didn't think about the fact that every time my large dog walks by it she opens it and then rummages through the can but I think I 'm out of the range to return. Def. don't recommend if you have a dog large enough who can get into it, otherwise it's fine if you can keep it somewhere away from movement because it's sensitive and will open and close if someone is talking or sitting close by.

Disappointing purchase as their highest level trash can arrived dented and damaged. Sent pictures into their customer service right away and never heard back. No instructions on return or replacement, only crickets.

Practical New Commands

I’ve owned the previous versions of these cans, and this is my favorite upgrade. Adding “stay open” and “close can” are useful commands that have taken the potential mistakes that the sensor makes away. Love it!

I’ve purchased several SimpleHuman products in the past so I was surprised when this one arrived defective. All it took was a text message to customer service and I was shipped a brand new replacement at no cost to me and told to just recycle the defective item. I am a loyal customer. The can works very well.

Love the dual trash and recycling containers. A smart trash can with voice and motion activation . . . I love it! The only opportunity I see is to have the trash container be removable like the recycling container.

My new friend

It’s a ridiculously expensive trash can that has become my new friend. I can talk to it and it responds, and dump all my garbage in it without it being offended. Worth its weight in gold.
