Disappointing

I’d been looking for a dual can like this for some time. Out last Simple Human can lasted for several years before the motor burnt out. The capacity is a little too small, 8 or 9 gallon bags instead of 13. The smaller trash bags are more expensive too. The 6 batteries (as opposed to 8 in our old one) needed to be replaced after about a month so we had to move the can near an outlet which has been hard to get used to. It’s got a lot of phantom openings which wafts more trash smells around. But the voice command works well and is a nice addition. We will keep it until something better comes along.

I love my new garbage/recycle can. I had the regular dual compartment can and recently went with the voice activated model. It’s super convenient when you have wet hands or both hands are full. You just say, “Open can” and that’s it! I didn’t think I needed the voice activated model when it was time to replace my other can but so glad I went with it. I simply love my SimpleHuman products!
