Efficient and Beautiful

This is the best garbage can! It looks like a piece of furniture with its sleek design. The mechanism is quiet and the containers hold more than I thought they would! Now we have one can instead of two and the automatic mechanism makes working in the kitchen so easy when I'm cleaning up and throwing things away..... Love it!

I like how well this has streamlined handling of trash and recycling.
Would be 5 stars except that I had to return the first one because it arrived with a big dent from an external blow, despite the excellent packaging. This makes me nervous about how it will hold up to normal household dings and bumps. We'll see.

Unbelievably Smart and Convenient

I hesitated to purchase this sensor can because it was very pricey. I live in a 3 story house and was tired of always having to run down a floor with my recycle items. So I decided to try this item. So glad I did. Extremely quiet. Opens with voice or wave of hand. Has plenty of room for recycling and garbage. The garbage bag replacement attract to the can making it convenient to replace after removing trash. The recycle bin is sturdy with a handle to carry. Plus the can is a modern styling and fits perfect at end of my island. So happy with this purchase. Worth every penny!

Worth the Investment!

This is by far the best refuse/recycling container and it is so incredibly convenient to use. I was reticent to spend the money on it and I am so glad I did. If you are on the fence with buying it, jump off and purchase it -- you won't be disappointed! The only suggestion for improvement would be to add a dispenser for the recycling bags, similar to the built in dispenser for the garbage bags; this would be very convenient and take this product to a maximum level of greatness!!

Didn't know I needed a smart garbage can

This was a kind of superfluous purchase at first for me because I didn't think a smart garbage can was "needed" but I absolutely love this thing. It's excellent and convenient and so thoughtfully designed! I also love the way it looks in the kitchen. Things/bonuses I love: hands/feet free, looks great, does an actual decent job at containing any trash odors, easy to set up and use, and thoughtful design makes re-lining and taking out the trash a surprisingly pleasant process. One thing that isn't necessarily a con but I found interesting: the can being voice activated sometimes catches things we say that aren't remotely "open can" commands and will just spontaneously open and shut once in a while when we're hanging out in the kitchen. I've tried resetting the can a few times but it still likes to spontaneously open. It's not near a heat source directly and I chalk it up to the tones in our voices/conversations to sound like "open can" maybe. Otherwise the product is perfect and was an excellent buy. Highly recommend if you need a discreet and great way to organize trash and recycling in one convenient vessel.

Great way to ensure we recycle!

We've traditionally had a large garbage can and a small recycling bin but we would always end up filling the garbage can after the recycling bin was full, now that both bins are the same size and easily accessible via the automated lid, it's increased our capability to easily recycle. I also enjoy the option to run the lid based on battery power as there is not a plug close to where we wanted to set the can. Unlike our Google Home automation, this voice control actually seems to listen to my wife as well, which is an added bonus!
