I like the sensor can,

I like the sensor can, but it keeps opening by itself. Without any commands. Is this normal?

Great touch less trash can

Love this trash can! The only advice I would give is if you have a big family, think twice before you buy it. It’s only my husband and I and we have to take out the trash more often than when we had a 13 gallon trash can. I would say about half as much trash fits in one of these than a regular trash can. But we love the touch less feature and the sleek look. It looks great. It does open randomly but it might just be because if the location we have it in.

'almost' as good as advertised

I would have given this a '5' rating but sometimes I have to repeat myself once or twice to open the can by voice in about one of every five attempts, and it almost never works to the command of 'stay open.'
I think you have to work on improving the voice commands.

Excelente quality, look and work perfect, the only garbage can in the market able to be connected to an electric outlet. Definitely I recommend it.

As good as it gets!

We’ve had two 58L and love them. This time we opted for the touchless version. It’s not perfect in that it randomly opens and closes and 5% of the time it needs a little persuasion to close. BUT this is not a space rocket—it’s a refuse receptacle! And as such we are quite happy with it and it’s accompanying compost bin— both of which we would gladly take with us on an actual space rocket if asked ☺️

Beautiful but weak!

Very beautiful can, but already has scratches and dents easily. Wish it were a little tougher like our last simplehuman. Also opens randomly.

Inconsistent Sensor

It seems that the sensor only works when it wants to, despite being connected to a power source. We had to reset it multiple times in one day last week. Although, the motion sensor works much better than the voice recognition, which hardly ever works. It gets to be extremely frustrating in the middle of cooking a meal and your hands are dirty. Especially for as much as this trash can costs, you would think the sensors would be better.
Otherwise, I love everything about it. I just wish it didn't stop randomly working.
