Although my first record player broke (this being the same one) I had a warranty that comes with every purchase that lasts for a year, so when it broke I got a new record player! Would recommend though as it has great quality and is well built
I have a stash of old 45's that are not in good condition and wanted something to play them on without ruining the needle on an expensive turntable. Make sure you get the one that says it connects OUT to a bluetooth device. If it doesn't say that then the record player acts as a bluetooth player and plays from your external devices(totally useless since the speakers are not great). It's a lot of fun. I am not playing my good albums on it though. It may be ok, but not taking the chance.
Received the Journey + in a simple brown cardboard box, not the slick glossy graphics retail box which I think is very cool The overall function of this player is as expected. I went with the + version so I could use Bluetooth Out to connect to other speakers. The speakers in this player are a bit tiny to my ear. The front latch does not give confidence that it will stay closed and secure, very flimsy. I paid too much for this player because of the expensive shipping, but I wanted the black color and the local retailers did not have it in black.
They replaced an other one I had bought with a power surge. They were so amazing during the process. I reached out asking what options were available from there. They immediately sent the replacement the next day.
I got this for my sister's birthday, it looks amazing and I can wait to see her face when she opens it up! My grandma was also very shocked to see what brand it was she was happy too!
