If you like music, don't buy this turntable!

This unit doesn't sound so bad when you listen to the onboard speakers, but hook it up to a good hifi system and you'll hear how bad it really sounds. Wow and flutter is off the charts. The unit has a preamp in it so you have to hook the rca inputs up to a regular line in input instead of the phono input. It still sounds terrible.
This is a little novelty turntable. Break it out when a few friends come over and show them how cool it is. When you want to listen to music for enjoyment, this unit is not the one to use. I just can't stress enough how bad this turntable sounds. I got it as a christmas gift so I have to pretend I like it, but I'll never listen to it. I will never go through the effort of actually getting a record out of the sleeve to hear it like this victrola plays it. Sorry, but if you like music, this is not the item for you. If you like showing off that you have something unique and cool, go ahead and give it a try.

Only outputs the right channel

Bought this today and was super excited to get it home.
The speakers are small (which is totally fine) so I washed to used the outputs to listen on headphones. Only one side of the stereo sound works.
I tried using the connections on the back - same issue.
I'll be returning. Don't waste your time on this product.

Great Sounding Cartridge

It's a fun record player that I use as a second player. The stickers are cute and really dressed up the case. It has probably the best sound for a suitcase player in that price range. It has the white cartridge (the same one used in the ReSpin) that I believe sounds better than the usual one that comes with the red stylus. I have to say it does the job better than most suitcase players.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The player is extraordinary and fits well within my space. The only downside is the relatively thin sound. However, the design and portability are off the charts. Fantastic.

Got one of these at Christmas. It's been used maybe 7 or 8 times, tried to turn it on today and it started smoking and wouldn't come on. I won't buy victrola again, after googling it and seeing how many people have had the same issue. Terrible product, not worth a dime.
