Normal size leaves like oak or maple, does fine.
Small leaves like white ash, great!
Large leaves like sycamore (mine) slow-going, but still easier than raking.
It doesn't like wet leaves.
Bag could be larger, but then it might get too heavy to carry.
Nice large intake tube and strong 440 cfm vacuum, most are only 405.
Overall RECOMMEND!

The suction/mulcher is outstanding and more comfortable than my previous Toro. I especially like the wheels on the chute, though they are only useful on pavement and I usually remove them when suctioning on the grass. The collection bag is a little smaller than Toro, but easier to use.
The electric blower is less powerful than the Toro, probably because the tube is shorter and hence effectively less power. Adequate for most uses, but if I have a lot of leaves I will use my old Toro for blowing, and the SunJoe for suction/mulching.
That is the only reason I gave it 4, rather than 5 stars

This item works great, light enough for a woman to use but does get tiring after
much use. Never used the vacuum yet, but the power to blow leaves works really well especially when leaves are dry; works ok when they are wet. Highly recommend.

This blower is lighter, more powerful and better built than the previous blower that I was using. After buying another Sun Joe product I could not wait to get this blower ... fantastic quality, totally impressed!
