Reliable Works Well

No it doesn't pick up small acorns.. But it really does well on leaves and grass clippings. I have been using mine for at least two years, And it hasn't let me down yet. I'm looking at getting the cordless version just for the convenience. I am on my 2nd bag though. decent design. but not to heavy duty. Well worth the money.

Good basic unit, poor quality bag

I have to agree with Ray L that while I am satisfied with the blower and vacuum mulching, the bag that receives the mulched leaves is of poor quality. Specially the seams and the zipper. I bought a 605E 6 years ago; it recently died from overuse I’m sure. I recently bought another and now have multiple parts for it. But the bag quality was bad then and I was disappointed to find that it has not changed in 6 years. I have ordered replacement bags over the years when my home made fixes no longer worked. Seams can open and the cheesy little zipper comes apart, with the handle coming off; after only a week and a half with the latest unit. The motor and the plastic tubes can take quite a beating but the bag is flimsy. If they increase the durability of the bag this would be a great unit overall.

I was hoping it would be able to suck the tumble weeds up once they were broken into pieces and it can't. I was hoping for more suction power. It struggles even on the highest power and gets very hot.

The product looks very nice, easy to assembly. It is heavy and the motor runs loud and feel strong.
I bought it mainly for vacuum and munching. There are quite a few things that makes me disappointed
> Vacuum:
1-needs to practice, the nozzle has to be at some distance and at the right angle
(maybe that is why the wheels for). Manage to handle this issue but still a little annoying.
2-If the leaves are big (avocado leave), or if they have been suck in the sudden way it will stuck at the nozzle and I have to use hand to push it thru.
>Mulching: The leaves has to be dry, If it is little green or wet (like early in the morning) the machine cannot handle it. Likely I have to do twice to get the job done.

I gave it a 3 because of the features and the design but function wise is kind of disappointed .

Tried another one, different model, and it kept getting clogged up. This one works great and didn't get clogged up once. I have two huge maples, both well over 100 yrs old, so there are lots of leaves. This did a great job!
