Great saw for an old gal!

I had a smaller chainsaw that was gas run and had a terrible time getting it to start. In fact, I usually had to ask my husband to start it for me. This saw is lightweight and the batteries, when fully charged, last a long, long time. When I use it I try to outlast the batteries! The only thing is mine didn't come with that charger in the photo...I wish it did! As it is, I have to charge them individually. Not a big deal but still.................

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Sun Joe 24V-X2-SC16 48 Volt ION+ Cordless Chainsaw. This chainsaw is grat for me working in my yard. I am so happy with the fact that I can fire it right up by myself, as opposed to struggling with trying to pull a conventional chainsaw. I have many trees in my yard. This is great for trimming, and felling trees. The battery life is great. It also comes with a extra battery, so you can always have one charging.
This is a good quality chainsaw that I feel will last a long time.

Handy chain saw

When gets low on charge its time for a break
Just to remove one limb or whole tree.

I bought the kit with batteries and fast charger. It does charge fast. I finally had some wood to cut and made around 30 cuts on wood 2 to 6 inches in diameter. The saw needed to run a few minutes to prime the auto chain oil-er. The chain did loosen after only a few cuts while new. I was having inconsistent tightening of the chain with the tension-er that comes with these saws. The chain did finally start maintaining tension after quite a few cuts to break in. The saw cuts really well. Its really quiet also. The batteries went down only one bar by the end of cutting. The oil-er pumps out a good amount in use. The saw has enough power to hold its own. If the tension-er was better I would give this 5-stars.
