As a 61 year old woman I needed something small enough to handle by myself. This is pretty great. I hit cement chunks under the dirt and it didn't bend the tines. Just have to mess with the cord. Minor hassle, but since I can't pull start a gas engine, an acceptable annoyance. Compact, small storage footprint, easily adjustable...a pretty decent investment overall.

Having grown up with gas operate tillers I was pleasantly surprised at how good this electric sunjoe tilled the ground and how easy it was to operate and handle. What a surprise!! No more heavy, cumbersome gas operated tillers for me.

I used this tiller on some ground that I partially dug up. It had some roots in it from some shrubs that I pulled out. It worked great, it even kicked out the small roots without bogging down. It worked better when I pulled the tiller backwards. When I did that the tiller dug down deep and the ground was chopped up real fine. It worked excellent and I am looking forward to use it next spring.

I'm impressed at how this thing claws the Earth for as compact as it is. Not to be underestimated. Great torque @ 12 amps. Easy to manuver. Well done!
