Worked well. I found pulling easier and more effective than pushing thru garden. Before starting, clear area of rocks and branches. Spread fertilizer and/or mulch before starting. Also, work slowly.
I have a previously tilled garlic patch separate from my larger garden. In spring I get the garden tilled but the growing garlic patch doesn't get turned over until October. It's not large enough to entice the tiller guy back. I just plug in the Sun Joe and in a hour it's done. No more dealing with neighbors small Troy built to try to get it started.
I was skeptical about its power but it did prove itself and I have been able to do a quite decent size backyard in a day. Amazing product that packs a punch.
Was amazed with the power for a small electric tiller. Great machine for the garden or making new flower beds. It folds up for easy storage, better than trying to store a gas powered rototiller. A friend bought 1 and really liked it for small garden plots. We live in the country so I use mine with a generator. Worked great for our 15 x 45 garden
Love this Tiller/Cultivator. Just make sure you keep the cord out of the way. I used it to chew up my soil to a depth of 2 feet that I had to remove for some fencing. If I had tried to dig through it I would have quit. Not only did it eat through the soil in record time it ate through the roots. Amazing. Hopefully, that does not void the warranty. Great machine. Keep up the good work SunJoe!
Must of the other reviews seemed accurate. Keep a ball peen hammer and some pliers to knock out rocks and remove windings. Used for total of 8 hours so far on 5 4x8 raised beds and it did the job.
