Great mower! Works as expected. Light, easy operation, cuts great on full battery charge. Grass bag is great. Adjustable cutting height is great. No issues.
We have a small yard as we live in a condo. Our yard was "almost" small enough to cut with a weed eater. We opted for this mower and love it. We love the adjustable height feature, battery life, and ease of use. Great purchase.
This is the perfect mower for the small lawn we have at our cottage. Quiet for the neighbors and us. Had a problem with starting after one year of use and customer service trouble shooted with me over the phone. When this did not work, they then had a new mower in the mail within an hour. Mowing again in 4 days!
Coming from using a pesky gas lawn mower, I'm thoroughly delighted with my Sun Joe battery powered mower - quiet and light weight so that I can lift it over the all the tall tree roots that cover my lawn. It's very easy to maneuver around all the plantings. Having so many height adjustments is very useful. The only drawback is that there's no side mulcher. Because mulching is very important to me, I hand spread the clippings when the bag becomes full.
I have only used it 3 times at this point, but it has proven incredibly lightweight, easy to use, and not nearly as loud as my previous gas-powered mower. I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend this mower to someone who has a similar size lot to mow.
We have a smallish yard (1/4 acre) and this little machine does a great job. I love the fact that it's cordless electric and that I don't have to buy oil or gasoline or store those things in my garage (oy the smell!). I really like how the collection bag is on the BACK of the mower so that I can get close to the fence and/or trees and mow as closely as possible. I need 2 battery charges to get through the front and back yard, but for the $ I'm saving on gas and oil and etc, it doesn't bother me too much.
The only drawback is that local mower repair places do NOT service electric mowers, so you have to send it into the manufacturer for repairs and/or replacements. It can take awhile (1-3 weeks) and so in that time we had to borrow our neighbor's mower. Thankfully we had a 2-year warranty on the mower, because 1 year to the day of buying it, it just stopped working. I'm thinking it was because I mowed while lightly raining (oops) but this machine can be fussy, so be sure to take good care of it and only mow when grass is dry and not in the rain.
