Easy to assemble and put to use immediately - there’s some residual power in the battery. The mower is light and easy to operate and does a good job. It’s also quiet — the mail carrier was impressed! — and the absence of exhaust fumes is good, too. Battery is easily removed for charging, and easy to put back once charged. I don’t have a huge area of grass to cut, so I can’t comment on how long the battery lasts. It’s plenty for my modest “lawn”. I strongly recommend this lawnmower.

This is a tough mower with lots of power. The battery has enough life that it cuts longer than I want to so I never have to stop and change batteries during a cut.

Perfect Mower

This is the perfect mower for a small yard! It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, has enough power to do the entire lawn on one charge, and is able to easily cut tall grass. It really does a nice job. And, as long as you install the “Sun Joe Lawn Mower Discharge Chute Accessory”, it does a good job mulching. This accessory is actually a plug, so that’s what I’ll call it. This plug must be installed if you plan to cut the grass with the bag removed. If you remove the bag and do not install the plug, you will end up with clumps of cut grass on the lawn.
For bag-less operation, the plug is really a must-have item. In my opinion, it should be included with every mower rather than offered as an accessory.
