I've used this mower twice so far. It replaced a 15-year-old Black & Decker corded mower. I figured it was time to go cordless, and I'm glad I did. The Sun Joe cuts efficiently and powerfully, and the battery lasts long enough for me to do my front and back yards. Yesterday, early into my mowing, I ran over a piece of concrete and the mower chopped it up and spit it out. That dented the blade, of course, but it kept cutting, didn't miss a beat. I remain skeptical, of course. How can this mower be so good? I guess I'll see where I am with it in a year, but for now I could not be happier with it.
This is the perfect mower for me. No pulling to start and cause more muscle pain. Lightweight so mowing is easy. Can accomplish what I need without having to recharge battery, even though battery charges quite fast.
The SunJoe iOn 16 LM cordless lawn mower is light weight, cuts great , and is easy to push and turn. The grass catcher is also easy to put on and take off and the mower’s size makes it easy to store in a shed.
My boyfriend has a larger 22 inch model with a 60 W battery. I have not been able to use it very well because I can’t get the battery out of the machine. So I bought the 16 inch with a 40 W battery. I couldn’t be more pleased! I have a regular size yard and I’m almost 70 years old and I mow the lawn each week. The mower is extremely easy to handle. The battery has never failed to mow the whole lawn in one sitting. And I can easily remove it to recharge. I wish I had bought this earlier.
