Product arrived with broken part. GE is unable to get replacement part in shorter than 3 months. So, unless we want to double purchase (but a new one) we have a half-finished kitchen. Not great.
I don't know how it works because we can't install it with broken part.

Downdraft periscoping fan

Replaced my old periscoping fan with this updated one. Smooth installation instructions and Vent flexibility. New fan is much quite and works great

Not high enough nor strong enough. It doesn’t reach taller pots and doesn’t have the power to pull out smells

Loose fan

installation went fine until we tested it and the fan inside the motor was loose and fell out and was scraping against the side so I had to take the cover off put the fan and tighten it down and it worked fine. Other than that I would’ve been five stars.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A little bit noise, I think that is kind of motor fan. Blower sound go up and down by power. Neat for my countertop
