Recently had this installed during a kitchen remodel - it arrived with an diffective part and it took almost 2 months to get a replacement. Since the part was replaced, we have had to have it serviced 2 more times as it will not stay in the upright position. I would absolutely NOT recommend this downdraft!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We will be reaching out to you via email to gather additional information. Please respond to the email at your earliest convenience.
The unit installation was relatively easy, however it is heavy and takes some effort to move it into position. I had to stand in the cooktop cutout space to handle it. Matching the outlet on the bottom to my existing 6" round duct took a bit of effort to fit it while lowering the unit into position. Better with two people to do this.
While it is a good product, works as advertised and we are happy with performance - a word of caution for using with thick granite countertops - it is very difficult to get a "perfect" fit for support tabs and when unit is lowered does not sit completely flush with countertop

Installing a telescopic downdraft vent behind your cooking surface instead of a hood above it is a great look for your kitchen. The vent only comes up when you need it, allowing for a clean, minimal look when it is not in use. We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear the downdraft is working well for you. Only used 2 x and it quit working. Causes a draft across my island counter Which is very cold in winter and steamy in the summer

We are going to pass along your feedback about the draft over to our product team. This way we can look for potential improvements we can make for our future models. Thanks again for sharing.
