Cheaply built, nightmare to assemble, what a waste

Bought a month ago, frame flimsy steel and bent right out of box, casters didnt lock at all, directions for assembly weren't helpful as illustrations were poor and confusing. I should have bought a Weber.

Sorely Disappointed

I owned a Char Broil model 463268008 for 10+ years. It was a great grill.
I purchased this grill in Dec. 2024 with the expectations that it would at least be as good as the grill I purchased previously. I'm am quite disappointed with the quality of this grill. From the top down compared to my previous Char Broil: The stainless steel is a lesser grade. My magnetic temperature probe adheres to the stainless. The handles attach directly to the firebox and get hot when cooking. Previous model had then attached to casting on the sides of the firebox. The gaps between grates are about 5/8in. prior grill were about 3/8in. The large gaps allow for food the fall through. The heat tents are about 1in. compared to 2.5in. The smaller heat tents do not distributed the heat adequately. The side burner lid does not have rubber stops. This causes a loud noise when closing. The back is open which allows supplies to slide out the back. The doors are flimsy and pop open when rolling the grill. The previous grill had solid backs on the doors. The castors protrude past the bottom shelf and create a trip hazard. The previous model had the castors recessed and shielded by a metal skirt around bottom shelf. The cotter pins securing the burner tubes become red/orange hot when cooking as they are directly at the tips of the flames. This does not seem correct. Lastly, the igniter does not ignite the side burn. I have not received response from Char Broil.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
