This is the second water bottle in this style that I bought because I liked the first one so much. I'm not sure why they call it a mug,which is only relevant (IMO) if you're trying to find it on the site.What I really like is that I can take a satisfying drink from a spout rather than having to use a straw, and the lack of a straw mechanism makes it a lot easier to clean. Be kind to it--I broke the carrying ring by dropping the bottle/mug and can still use it but have to be careful of the metal points sticking out. The good news is that you can easily order a new lid.

I’ve had my Takeya for more than a year now and I am still amazed at its ability to keep my soda cold and also carbonated. I stop drinking around 9 o’clock at night with 8 to 10 ounces left in the bottle. At 4 in the afternoon the next day my drink is as cold as it was 19 hours earlier and just as carbonated. It’s a real joy to own a product that cannot possibly be improved.
