I like the other Takeya bottles I’ve gotten in the past. Got this one on sale. Love the color, but 1) feels heavier that the others, and 2) unlike the others this one does not say it can go in the dishwasher. Big drawback. Won’t get this model again.

All travelers can go in the dishwasher except the Rose Gold color.

I am disappointed that this product does not keep things cold as long as it claims to…I filled it with ice and water in the morning and the ice was gone by noon.

Good for coffee BUT…

I love all things Takeya. It’s my go to brand for water bottles and coffee mugs. However, the lid design on this traveler needs a redo. I’ve owned 3 of them now. Unfortunately, if you drop it onto the ground, the carrying ring on the lid breaks easily. Once that happens, the hinge on the lid easily comes off too making the tumbler unusable. I’ve dropped 2 of them now and have to get them replaced. With the price being what it is, if I keep dropping them then I’ll need to look at a different brand which I don’t want do since I love them so much. Oh, and I’ve tried super glue to fix the carrying ring, but that doesn’t work.

As a family, we have several bottles and love them all. The first one we bought sat in a hot car for several hours in the middle of the summer and the water was still cold. The most recent bottle was a larger traveler that fits in the cup holder of the car. Very easy to carry on walks.

Traveler coffee tumbler

I bought this in January 2023 thinking this will be awesome for transfers with a walker and keeping my coffee hot! I wasn’t wrong this was my answers to many prayers. I love my coffee HOT this insulated tumbler does its job. My only complaint is the lid was defective. It stopped latching shut.
