What a great violet 18 oz bottle!

The following is a copy I sent to customer service:
I have been purchasing stainless steel water bottles of late.  Takeya is tied with with the Camelbak and Microlite versions.  I like the simple, practical design.  I prefer the narrow drinking spout, it being leak proof, the textured side of the cap for better grip, and the handle to carry it with.  I imagine that the bumper helps with preventing damage to the bottle and things it rests on.  Often the bumper stays in the hip carry case I have.  The paint is slightly wearing off on the ridge of the bottle just below the where the cap goes.  It looks used. That's okay.  I do not want anything too perfect.
Thank you for making the water available.  You made a fine product.

The Best Water Bottle!!

I loooooooove this water bottle!!! It's not too big or wide and it really keeps things cold for a really long time, and it's the same with thing that are hot. I got pencil marks in mine but once I used soap and water it went away. The outside of the bottle doesn't sweat at all, and once the spout is closed, nothing spills. I do have a tip though - don't freeze the water in your bottle, in the morning, just fill it with cold water and ice and you'll be great throughout the day!!! I recommend this bottle to everyone, especially the blush color!!

Quality, comfort, & convenience. My waterbottle dealt with my school bully and found my lost puppy. It stands up straight and doesn't knock over easily. I can fit half my swimming pool into my water bottle. I can use this product to take the solid ice to the northern ice caps and slowly but surely reverse the effects of global warming. It'd take a lot of trips but still a true testament to the quality of this bottle. 12/10 best water bottle this west of the Mississippi.

I purchased this insulated water bottle for the size of the handle, other water bottles only have room for one finger so they put undo pressure on the finger while walking and allowing the bottle to swing. This water bottle handle allows two or three fingers and freely swings.

This was my SECOND order of Takeya insulated bottles as my first order consisted of Christmas gifts for friends and family. When I received my initial order, I was immediately impressed by the quality of the bottles. I love the fact that liquids stay either HOT or COLD for hours in the bottle, the bottle is very easy to carry, the rubber "bumper" on the bottom of the bottle keeps my kitchen counter top from getting scratched up, and the most important feature to me is that the bottle actually fits in the cup holder of my Toyota Prius! Yes, this was an important feature to me because there's nothing more annoying than having a bottle full of liquid rolling around in your car as you drive! The bottle is easy to clean, and it is very easy to access the liquid inside the bottle.
Yes, I said this is my SECOND order because I ended up keeping two of the bottles I ordered as Christmas gifts in my initial order for MYSELF because I loved them so much!

I like it! I haven't used it often but don't have any problems with it. 24oz is as big as you can get without the diameter of the bottle increasing, so this was the perfectly balanced size for me and the blush color is very nice in person as well.
One suggestion would be to make the sipping spout slightly longer and more narrow, so that it is easier and more attractive to drink. ;)

Some water bottles are inexplicably designed so you have to unscrew the entire lid to take a drink. Not this one. It has a nice, easy-open spout, and you can still remove the entire lid for filling or adding ice. It also needs no tube, so, one less thing to require cleaning. And it has a nice carrying handle, easy to carry with a few fingers. Just right.

Outperforms Yeti, just wish it was dishwasher safe

I bought my 24 oz Actives bottle mainly because of the covered spout. I work in an environment where people have all sorts of diseases, and they're all near my water. I have peace of mind when I sip that the spout has not been contaminated. Another plus is the bumper protecting from dents and dings. My work environment is hard, all steel and concrete.
I was amazed to find that I can still have ice throughout 2 days! I believe the insulated lid gets a lot of credit for that. I am so pleased with this product!
I do wish the Takeya could go in the dishwasher. It's so tall and narrow that I'll have to buy a bottle brush to clean it if I use it for liquids other than water.
