Humidy is 9 % of then what the unit displays!!!

Nice piece, humidity isnt stable at all! The humidity is 9% lower than what is displayed not allowing the cigars to be at the preferred humidity of 70%. Going to reach out to you guys tomorrow for calibration needs. At this price I shouldnt even have to call or email this company at all

Beautiful product! Absolutely stunning all around. It’s a set it & forget it type of humidor.
On mine specifically, the temperature holds steady while the RH% seems to be about 4/5% lower than what my individual hygrometers (4 of them) are reading (unit is set at 68% RH and my hygrometers are reading 63%).
A negative about the product is that you have to open the door in order to turn on the inside lights. I wish there was a way to turn on the lights without having to open the door. Also, I wish you didn’t have to bend down to see the temp/RH. The temp/RH is covered at the top so you have to get low to see it. These are minor things. The unit is absolutely wonderful and I would recommend it 100 times over!

If you live in a high humidity region, this is the humidor to get…period! Those thermo-electric humidors do not effectively remove humidity, even with beads or Boveda pack. With thermoelectrics, humidity eventually builds up has to go somewhere and eventually excess humidity over humidifies your cigars. I’ve experimented for several years and could never get any level of consistency. With this compressor based humidor, problem solved in just 2 days of cigars sitting in it. Cigars are near perfect and taste as they were intended to. Temp and humidity remain stable! Well built design. Only real issue is that the built in hygrometer reads high by 3-9% depending where you place your own hygrometers at for comparisons. If I set it at 72% humidity, my own calibrated gauges read 64-65% on avg and even lower on top shelf. This could be an issue if you live in dry climates and want your humidity closer to 70%. I like mine at 62-65%, so this works for me here in South Florida. With my own hygrometer, front portion of humidor reads 4-5% lower than if placed towards rear of humidor. Occasional gurgling noises from compressor, but not annoying at all. Lighting and drawers are awesome.

So close to perfection

I was so excited to get this unit. I upgraded from the 250 count NewAir humidor. This thing looks great in my bar. I love the super bright lights inside, that is a huge upgrade from the strange single blue light that lit nothing. The unit is pretty quiet but it does make some weird sounds unlike my last humidor or fridge. I'm assuming it is from whatever compressor and it is supposed to make a knocking noise. The built in humidification system seems to work well even thought the readings on the unit doesn't match what is says on my hygrometer. The drawers are my issue and why I can't give this unit 5 stars. The dividers in the three top drawers are glued in place and I am to afraid to remove them because it might damage the drawer. The dividers are nice for loose cigars but if you have boxes they are not very accommodating. I have 8 boxes in this unit and only two fit within the dividers and they are both size A cigars so long and thin cigars and boxes. The other boxes just sit in there across the divider and you can't stack them on top of each other if they are sitting like that. Also the since there are only three of the drawers on top they could have made them deeper or added another drawer. If they were deeper you could put more cigars in them because once you are over the edge of the drawers you can not stack them much higher unless you create a pyramid. I guess you could fit 840 cigars in there if you had them in a bunch of bags or something I don't know. This is a big unit and I was hoping I could fit all of my cigars in it (I have no where near 840) but since I can't stack boxes or cigars to high I can't fit as many in there as I was hoping to. This is still the most impressive unit of this type that I've seen and the way the drawers slide out is super nice. I just wish there was removable dividers or at least one shelf without a divider on it so it would be easier to stack boxes inside.

Finally a humidor that has it all. NewAir really knocked it out of the park with this one. Do your self a favor and purchase this humidor. NewAir listen to past complaints from customers and addressed all issues with previous models. This is truly a set it and forget it humidor that really looks nice in any room you would choose to put it in. The customer service with this company is also exemplary. Difficult to season/seems to work well

Quite upset how difficult it was to set this up. The screws were completely not aligned to set up the handle. Also I can’t get the bottom drawer out which has made it difficult to season.

HUGE, COOL, PERFECT for your cigars!!!

This cigar humidor is simply amazing!!! Tons of room for my sticks AND BOXES!!! The lighting is great so you can see every shelf. The fan is ultra-quiet, and this thing is simply a beautiful beast of a humidor!!! Oh, and having that interior water reservoir in there integrated into the bottom shelf makes it easy to maintain humidity year-round!

Beautiful unit - BUT doesn’t serve main purpose

Have had three weeks, but have to return. I really wanted this to work it is a beautiful unit but if you are buying a 800 cigar humidor you are protecting an investment. The humidity unit is not of the quality to protect my investment. The humidity is all over the place and is not accurate, so I have three hydrometers in the unit and top to bottom is not equal either. The unit is terrible to fill. There is not a functioning level indicator. So to fill you have to get on your knees, open the bottom drawer, shine a flashlight on the reservoir and pray you don’t overfill because it leaks on the floor of the unit. If you splash distilled water while filling it ends up on your cigars in the bottom drawer. My opinion bad design. Other nit picky weird items are you have to bend down to read temp/humidity cant just look at unit and see. Also would love the partitions in the drawers to be moveable. Noise is louder than expected but not unbearable. I believe it is the humification system and not the compressor. Compressor and temp control seem to work great. May try 4 large humidification packs but not sure if I can turn off humification system and an expensive unit if you have to use packs all the time. One last odd thing with unit came small plastic bag with door handle screws, but bag included a bunch of other parts and an hex key, no idea what they are for.
