This unit works magnificently, however my rh is off about 2% consistently so just set it 2% higher and you'll be perfect! Other than that I have no complaints I just wish when you fill the water reservoir it's a a tad easier to see the water line but it's really not a big deal I'm just nitpicking at this point.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Complete Disappointment - Dont Recommend

After discovering problems with my 300H that was discontinued, I upgraded to this unit. Will be sending it back, runs constantly, very loud, temp and humidity are both off in relation to selection.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finally a humidor that has it all. NewAir really knocked it out of the park with this one. Do your self a favor and purchase this humidor. NewAir listen to past complaints from customers and addressed all issues with previous models. This is truly a set it and forget it humidor that really looks nice in any room you would choose to put it in. The customer service with this company is also exemplary. Thank you NewAir for this humidor!

It is nice not to worry

As the seasons changed I was constantly having to mess with my humidors to try and keep the humidity correct. With the Newair Humidor all that went away. I only had to keep and eye on the water tank and let the unit do the rest. It was amazing having consistently great smokes from the perfect humidity.

The 840C is a sharp looking humidor but unfortunately has a major flaw. The humidity reading on the unit is 6%-7% higher than what two calibrated hygrometers inside the unit are reading. I seasoned the drawers when I received it last week but 5 days later, the humidity is still reading way too high on the read out vs. the hygrometers. It's really disappointing to spend $1500 and not have the most important feature to most buyers work correctly. I have spoken to customer service and they say they are looking into the problem, but no call back yet. Many others are having the same issue, look at the comments under reviews on You tube. Not sure what they can do at this point outside replacing the unit (doubt someone is coming to Florida to recalibrate my humidor). I wonder if the unit is really out of stock or they stopped shipping or taking orders knowing the humidity issue is prevalent? Setting the unit's humidity at 6%-7% higher to compensate for the problem is not a good solution for me. As stated above, for this price, you would expect the humidity inside the humidor to be what you set it at. Just fyi, I have approximately 175 cigars in the humidor, so it is not empty. Disappointed so far.
