Bad battery chargers

I bought the Greenworks 40v pole saw last year. Within 2 months the battery charger stopped working. I returned the entire saw to the place of purchase for a replacement. Tried to use it this spring and the battery charger has died already. Based on this experience I cannot recommend greenworks products at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear about the experience you have encountered with this battery. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owner’s manual period from the date of purchase.

Gets the job done in no time

I bought these two pieces as a combo a month ago. Took a little bit of fiddling with for the saw attachment but once I figured it out I quickly had cut down a lot of brush that needed to go. So be careful, in 10 minutes time you could cut down a small forest as easy as the pole saw is easy to use. Great combo to interchange with

We bought this saw to do some light-medium tree trimming at both our home and business properties. This saw is lightweight and very easy to use. The battery held plenty of charge to do everything we needed and more. We much prefer it to the more expensive (and heavy!) gas motor styles. Very happy with this purchase!!

Seems like a good saw so far. Only problems I've noticed are that the chain tightening screw is kind of annoying, and the newer model has a better hand screw for taking the side plate on and off. Also the descriptions could be better because it is not forwards compatible with newer saw connections.
