I bought first a mower and I was super happy with the no cable situation. I bought then a weed wacker to finish the mowing without cables and I was in heaven. Finally I almost died when I saw how powerful and useful this tools are. The hedger is really a time saver, with the pole even more and the same with the saw, even though for small pieces of wood / tree. Really happy with all my green work tools.

This is my first battery operated tool of this type. I like being able to put the battery in and go. No gas, hard starting and noise that I am used to with gas powered machines. Surprisingly good power for battery powered machine. I haven’t had the machines that long or operated for extended periods of time to test how long the batteries last. Looking forward to putting the tools to the test.

Saw works well so far (haven't used the hedge trimmer attachment yet.). I have used it for about 3 hrs of trimming now. You need to monitor chain tension once in a while. My chain just popped off altogether after 45 mins of trim work.
What I would like to see improved:
- a larger bar & chain oil reservoir with a window that is more translucent - I actually can't see the oil level through the indicator window at all.
- the shoulder strap seems pretty useless to me in all the many configurations I tried - I doubt that including instructions on how to adjust it in the manual would actually improve usability.

The length gives it some weight but the saw works well on most trees. I had issues cutting some pine limbs but maybe you'll have better results. Definitely worth a look if your browsing for a pole saw.

A pole saw will be different than a chainsaw because of how you are holding a pole; a properly balanced footing is the best way to operate the pole chain saw when you extend it over your head. Bend your knees a little bit and grasp the pole chain saw with both hands. Wear a good pair of (leather) work gloves that will not only protect your hands but also give you a good grip. Effortless Pruning for your Money Trees

I own a 10-acre parcel of woodland where I focus on growing high quality timber walnut and cherry. The most important tool I need is a reliable pole saw to neatly groom the trees into strong, straight, furniture quality timber. This saw allows me to get my work done in much shorter time than the dirty gas-powered saw I had been using because I don't have to constantly work on it. It works correctly every time, doesn't need constant chain adjustments, the battery lasts for more cuts than a tank of gas, and it needs very little maintenance other than charging the battery and keeping the chain sharp. I wish I had this tool twenty years ago.
