[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Greenworks Pole Saw and Hedger is superb. I had a gas pole saw and this one is SO much lighter, plus I love the fact it's not running the entire time you're up in the air, but ONLY when you hit the trigger to saw the limb. Much safer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First use of hedge trimmer went well. It cut effectively through 1/2” branches and made fast work of shrub pruning. It is heavy though so hard to use for longer periods of time. Also wish that adding/ removing of pole extension was a little quicker and less cumbersome. Battery lasted longer than expected. All in all, a good addition to my 40v collection.

Need alot of muscles to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cumbersome to handle. Whe. Using full length, hard to handle and use. Makes you go off balance. Needs to be of lighter construction, so everyone can handle.

As each users’ capabilities differ, the strap helps even out the weight. Hold unit firmly with both hands. Always keep your left hand on the pole shaft and your right hand on the rear handle, so your body is to the left of the chain line. Never use a left-handed (cross-handed) grip, or any stance that places your body or arm across the chain line.

40V 8" Cordless Battery Pole Saw w/ 2.0 Ah Battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our second Greenworks purchase and we chose the 40 volt pole saw since we already had the 40 trimmer and had sharing batteries in mind. This has been great for trimming higher up branches as to not have to drag out the ladder and safer than reaching overhead with a chainsaw. Bought a chain sharpener to extend the life of the chain.

Lightweight and fast

This thing really ripped through branches and limbs at a very fast rate. has great reach with the extender added or a very easy to use without it. Well, balanced and lightweight would highly recommend.
