Read the manual!!

I bought this to help out with trimming trees and not have to tire myself out with a regular pole saw. Works fine except it leaks oil! Read your manual and it says if you intend to store it for prolonged periods of time to empty the oil reservoir and run for about a minute. Not sure why they would make a product that knowingly does this because none of my gas saws have ever had this problem. I have this model 20672, i dont know if the newer models have this problem but please be aware of this before you buy.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear of your unsatisfactory experience. All chainsaws will slowly “leak” oil in storage (mostly from it seeping off the chain).
To prevent excessive leakage, store with as little oil left in the reservoir as possible, lay the chainsaw flat with a rag beneath it and the pole saw upright with the motor head at the top. During first use, operators should only fill the reservoir to roughly half full and check periodically to see if it needs to be refilled.
Eventually, you will become accustomed to the amount of oil required for each job. This procedure will make it easier to store the unit as oil free as possible and reduce oil run off.

I received my hedge cutter and chainsaw combo and used them the same day. I have only one complaints, the the hedge cutter seems to be a little long, that is, if using it with the head tilted, walking along a row of hedges, holding the grab bar vertically and the cutter horizontally, the trigger is hard to reach, and unfortunately it doesn't lock, therefore it is really awkward to turn it on and keeping it on. I wish the trigger would lock, it would solve this issue.

Love this saw. Assembled very easily, and the extension piece is easy to swap in and out. Cuts through some good size branches no problem. Customer service is great with this company, which is very important to me. I also own a greenworks mower and trimmer, which are great. I had a minor issue with my mower that was addressed and corrected very quickly.

This is my fourth 40v greenworks tool and it is a great product. It is easy to use, cuts through small branches easily. Battery has good lasting time. I am well satisfied with this saw.

Hedge trimmer and pole saw both work very well. Good power and seems to last for a reasonable amount of time. Battery recharges relatively quickly. A bit concerned about some of the plastic parts where the hedge trimmer can be repositioned, but thus far they have held up.

Purchased about a month ago. In the fall we get a lot of storms plus we live in a heavily wooded area. This is the perfect thing for reaching out to get branches that need to be taken down or are partially broken due to a storm. Easy to assemble, battery lasts more than long enough for my needs. I also bought a 26-in extension from greenworks which gives me just enough extra reach.
