I bought this about a month ago so far it is great. I don't have to pull out my ladder any more. It Can get a little heavy but the battery has to go somewhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well, could be built with more features for price. Glad I still have my older lower priced pole saw which works great. Owning both lets me take on lots of different cutting situations.

We had a bit of a rough start, as the first saw didn’t work.I called the service dept and they were very helpful and arranged for a new saw to be sent and a pickup of the broken saw. The new saw works well and cuts through small limbs easily and is easy to use. If it weren’t for the false start, I would give it five stars.

Good battery life. Will cut larger limbs than you would think. Easy to take up chain slack. I also discovered how good it is to use for cutting stuff low to the ground like invasive bushes. No more crawling around on the ground.

Too heavy!

I bought this after trying my neighbors gas pole saw. Thinking battery would be better. The gas saw has the engine at the bottom and drives the saw using a drive shaft, making the saw the only thing you have to lift. This saw has electric motor & the saw on the head which makes the head too heavy. Great idea, poor design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with this unit due to the weight. With the 3.0AH battery installed, this unit weighs 16.6 lbs. in total. As each users’ capabilities differ, the strap helps even out the weight. Hold unit firmly with both hands. Always keep your left hand on the pole shaft and your right hand on the rear handle, so your body is to the left of the chain line. Never use a left-handed (cross-handed) grip, or any stance that places your body or arm across the chain line.

I bought the pole Saul to trim five Mulberry trees that were way too tall I was able to trim them back to a reasonable length without having to get a ladder or stool to stand on the battery lasted the whole time trimming all five trees excellent
