Some noise underload is normal for battery-powered trimmers, and the double safety feature is designed to help prevent accidental starts and keep you safe while operating the tool.
If you notice any excessive or inconsistent startup delay, here are some tips that may help:
Ensure proper battery seating: Make sure the battery clicks securely into place. A loosely connected battery can cause intermittent power or startup issues.
Check the handle position: The rear handle rotates for versatility, but it must be locked in a valid operating position for the trimmer to start.
Inspect for obstructions: Debris, sap, or thick branches can jam the blades. If the motor senses an obstruction, it may temporarily prevent startup to protect the tool.
