I previously bought the leaf blower 40v and am very pleased, so why not try the trimmer 40v and both use the same battery, so now I have a backup battery. Guess what, the trimmer is great also. Light weight, easy to handle. Can't go wrong.

I remember a time when I was either tethered to an outlet hoping I didn't pull the cable from the wall, or praying I had enough gas to get through trimming my entire hedgerow. Those days are over, long live Greenworks. It's lightweight, uses the same batteries that all of my other Greenworks equipment uses, and lasts forever on a battery. If you've find your way here during your research for a trimmer then consider the crusade victorious and buy this (or something else they make).

Very manageable for a 5'2" woman - on first use, trimmed 2 moderately large yews, with plenty of battery left. (Wish it came with a "scabbard" for storage.) Will see how durable it is.

The point of attachment from motor to blade broke the first time I used it. Can't get a replacement. Wasted my money.
