I have this pumpkin cocotte in the burnt orange and I love it. It is a collector's piece that I bring out each Fall and keep on the stove. I bought one for my daughter in white and she leave it out on the stove year round and always looks great in her kitchen. People often ask, well what do you make in it, you make anything in it you would make in a round cocotte! I make jam in this, bread pudding, beans, rice dishes, you name it!

I bought this as a house warming gift for my new house, new kitchen. It is gorgeous! I plan to leave it out on my cooktop until Thanksgiving. I have other Staub cookware so I know how nicely they cook food. It’s a nice size for 4 servings. The only question I have is about the stem. One reviewer said the stem turned a different color after baking in the oven. I don’t want to risk that.
